Chacruna Trainings offers high-quality virtual courses and workshops exploring the most timely issues in the psychedelics and plant medicine world. Like with our chronicles and events, our trainings highlight critical conversations about controversial and marginalized topics in the psychedelic ecosystem, and also promotes diverse voices from women, Indigenous people, people of color and LGBTQI speakers. We create various types of interactive educational teachings, featuring presentations, resources, and dialogues from visionary thought leaders working at the forefront of psychedelic science, policy and culture. We focus on cutting edge themes, from indigenous knowledge and sacred plants, to equity, diversion, inclusion and diversity, to women and queer issues, to questions around decriminalization, legalization and commodification. Further, we offer optional continuing education (CE) credits through participation in these trainings for folks looking to broaden their academic experience. Finally, we curate a space for participants to share their views on specific issues and bring in new perspectives in the public debate, and contemplate aspects that are frequently missing in trainings in the mainstream field of psychedelics.
