Refund Policy (Workshops, Courses and Chacruna Community Forums)
Refunds may be granted by the organization on a case-by-case basis up to one hour on the day of the event.
After this deadline, refunds will not be considered unless due to exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, death in the family, or other demonstrably unforeseen occurrences. In such cases, partial refunds may be possible at the organization’s discretion. Please note that Eventbrite’s processing fee is non-refundable.
Additionally, the organization may charge a [cancellation fee amount] cancellation fee for late cancellations (within 1 hour of the event start time).
If this is for workshops, it should be $25. For courses, it should be $100. Community Forums $5.
Recording Policy (Courses)
Students will be provided with the recorded professor lectures a week in advance of the discussion class which they will watch on their own time. The 1.5hr Zoom meetings included in the schedule in the syllabus will consist of q+a/discussion with the students and professor. Coming into the discussion classes, students are expected to have watched the recordings and read the readings which are listed in the syllabus. The live discussion classes will not be recorded.
Recording Policy (Workshops)
We generally do not provide recordings to workshop attendees. However, if you are unable to attend the live event due to unforeseen circumstances such as serious illness, death in the family, or other demonstrably urgent situations, you may request the recording up to one hour on the day of the event. Depending on the situation and at the organization’s discretion, you may be granted access to the recording on respective platform for 1 week after the event.
