Lisbeth Bonilla is a native of the Wixarika community of Tateikié, Jalisco. She received a degree in Administration from ITESO, the Jesuit university of Guadalajara and has since worked for the Secretary of Culture and developed the Hablemos del Hikuri peyote conservation project.
