Chacruna incubates leaders by creating clear pathways for emerging organizations, scholars, and practitioners to grow with integrity, support, and real-world impact. Through Fiscal Sponsorship, Internships & Mentorships, the Speakers Bureau, and the Volunteer Program, we provide the infrastructure, guidance, and visibility needed to develop ethical leadership in the psychedelic field. Together, these programs support skill-building, professional development, public engagement, and long-term sustainability—cultivating the next generation of thoughtful, accountable, and globally engaged leaders in psychedelic studies and advocacy.
Chacruna’s Fiscal Sponsorship program aims to elevate charitable projects that show the potential to make a difference in the world. This program aims to support the growth of the psychedelic eco-system, help create collaboration and cross pollination between organizations, community building and push for a more equitable and just psychedelic future. Chacruna has been supporting various organizations since 2021 and continues to welcome new ones.
The Internships Program is Chacruna’s pathway for emerging voices to gain real experience in the psychedelic ecosystem. Our interns work directly with experts across research, education, community projects, and cultural stewardship, contributing to meaningful work while developing practical skills. Through mentorship, training, and hands-on projects, participants receive guidance on ethical practice, career direction, personal growth, and global perspectives. This program reflects Chacruna’s commitment to cultivating the next generation of thoughtful, informed, and responsible leaders in psychedelic studies and advocacy.
The Speakers Bureau is Chacruna’s curated guide to our team’s public-facing work. It showcases our qualified experts, their bios, and the talks they are prepared to give across culture, science, justice, and Indigenous knowledge. Designed for organizers seeking the right voice for their conference, event, documentary or media project, it helps match topics, speakers, and expertise with clarity and ease. This resource reflects Chacruna’s commitment to accessible education, thoughtful dialogue, and elevating diverse perspectives in the psychedelic field.
The Volunteer Program is Chacruna’s welcoming entry point for people who want to contribute their time, skills, and heart to our mission. Volunteers support projects across education, community building, research, and cultural stewardship, working alongside our global team to strengthen ethical, equitable, and accessible psychedelic knowledge. Whether helping with events, translation, research, outreach, administrative or creative tasks, volunteers play a vital role in expanding Chacruna’s impact. This program reflects our commitment to shared responsibility, reciprocity, and building a community rooted in care and collaboration.
We elevate Indigenous voices and Latin American perspectives via the Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative (IRI) and Chacruna Latinoamérica (CLA). We support communal practices by providing religious freedom guidelines and practical harm‑reduction resources. This work protects cultural knowledge, promotes equity, and increases visibility across the field.
We build equitable, cross‑cultural networks through memberships and circles, biweekly online community forums, in person dialogues, and a welcoming volunteer program. These spaces center diverse voices, shared learning, and ongoing mutual support.
We turn rigorous academic research into accessible knowledge through courses and certificates, workshops and lectures, conferences and events, online chronicles, peer reviewed articles and books, often in partnership with universities. Our programs give the public and practitioners clear, practical tools.
