Hayden Griffin is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He has a PhD in criminology from the University of Florida and a JD from the University of Richmond. He has more than 30 publications and is first author (along with Vanessa Woodward and John Sloan) of The Money and Politics of Criminal Justice Policy (Carolina Academic Press, 2016.)
