Bradford Martins, MD, PhD

Bradford Martins, MD, PhD is an addiction psychiatrist in New Haven, CT at the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Recovery and Wellness Center and an Assistant Professor Adjunct at Yale University. He completed graduate and medical training at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and completed his psychiatry residency and addiction fellowship at Yale in the Neuroscience Research Training Program. He is a part of the psychedelic research group at Yale, studying the fMRI neuro-correlates of dimethyltryptamine (DMT) in the treatment of alcohol use disorder (AUD) with Dr. Anahita Bassir Nia’s lab. He has additionally received funding working to promote the equitable deployment of psychedelics into clinical practice. He is an advocate of LGBTQ+ issues and a member of the ACLU Connecticut board of directors.
