WHO WE ARE:

The Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization co-founded by Brazilian anthropologist Dr. Bia Labate and American psychologist Dr. Clancy Cavnar, based in Northern California and with strong ties to Brazil and Mexico. We promote reciprocity in the psychedelic community, and support the protection of sacred plants and cultural traditions. We advance psychedelic justice through curating critical conversations and uplifting the voices of women, queer people, Indigenous peoples, people of color, and the Global South in the field of psychedelic science.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Chacruna Institute is seeking a Visual Art Designer to create art materials necessary for Chacruna social media, chronicles, site pages, conferences, courses, workshops, and other offerings. These materials should follow our social justice spirit, and heavily enhance our image and branding systems, so having a good eye for aesthetics and interpretation of content is of the utmost importance.


This position requires understanding of the psychedelic landscape, great attention to detail and the capacity to define and execute mid and long term plans involving multiple actors.

This is a part-time, remote position with a commitment of 4-6 hours per day from Monday to Friday. We are looking for candidates from the US, with preference for California, ideally located in the Bay Area.
