Since the XII conference in Vienna in 2019\, SALSA conferences have continued to be organized biennially. Ideally (contingent on local host sponsorship)\, the site of our conference rotates among Europe\, South America\, and North America. To date\, SALSA conferences have included thematic panels and workshops\, as well as research posters\, film screenings\, discussion forums\, publication exchanges\, museum receptions\, and other events. \nReciprocidad indígena: Reflexiones y controversias \nEl debate sobre la reciprocidad indígena está rodeado de retos y controversias. El genocidio histórico de los pueblos indígenas y otras tácticas coloniales\, como la supresión de sus lenguas\, prácticas y tradiciones\, han creado un legado de opresión que no puede borrarse ni superarse mediante ninguna forma de reparación. No obstante\, estamos asistiendo a un aumento de iniciativas dedicadas a promover la reciprocidad hacia los pueblos indígenas.
